Managing regular dialysis care for a loved one can place significant demands on employees, from coordinating treatment schedules and travel to finding suitable centres, all while balancing work and family commitments.

DEGUP provides employees with dedicated care coordination support for family members undergoing dialysis. Through a dedicated WhatsApp care coordinator, enrolled families can receive assistance in identifying suitable dialysis centres and available treatment slots based on their needs, including preferred locations and treatment times where available. Employees can also receive support coordinating dialysis arrangements when travelling.

For employers, the programme provides a practical way to strengthen employee wellbeing and caregiving support while maintaining employee confidentiality through anonymised usage and impact reporting.

• Coverage: 10 employees’ family

• Service: Dedicated care coordination via WhatsApp

• Travel Support: Dialysis coordination for up to 2 trips per family per year

• Reporting: Quarterly anonymised usage and impact reports

• Price: RM16,000 per year for 10 families

Dialysis treatment costs are not included. Treatment remains billed separately by the respective dialysis centre or covered through the patient's existing funding arrangements.
