Starting dialysis can be overwhelming. Patients and families must navigate treatment centres, admission requirements, ongoing costs and major changes to their everyday routines.

Degup combines patient navigation, practical education and sponsored treatment to help patients manage this transition. Participants receive support in identifying suitable dialysis centres, preparing admission and funding applications, accessing a sponsored dialysis session and everyday self-care through a combined wellness and peer-support workshop.

By sponsoring this programme, organisations can help reduce immediate barriers to dialysis care while equipping patients and caregivers with practical knowledge, support and connections to better navigate their treatment journey.
